We are please to announce the running of the third St Arnaud Quarter Mile, to be held on the 13th & 14th of September 2008.

From now on, this event will be fixed for the second weekend in September for each year thereafter. The reasons for fixing the weekend is to allow other clubs and competitors to plan twelve months in advance.

The price will be $75.00 for one vehicle and one driver for one day, and $105.00 for a single vehicle, single driver for the weekend. If you have a second driver, the entry fee will be $55.00 for the second driver for one day or both.

Please note that the above prices include all CAMS temporary licenses if you do not have an annual CAMS license. This is a significant difference from the last events where the CAMS license fees were on top of the entry fee. We feel that the above arrangements make it far more attractive for more people to attend the event, given the excess capacity that we have.

Furthermore, we are also arranging entertainment on the Saturday night with the Melbourne Rock and Roll Band, "Love Crystals", to play at the St Arnaud Sporting Club. There will be an entry fee to the band and dinner and refreshments will be at bar prices.

We are also offering a further initiative to attract greater entries to car clubs so that if there are 5 or more members from one car club (this includes non CAMS Car Clubs) who wish to enter our event, we will be prepared to offer a group discount. All of the members in the car club must be nominated prior to the discount being given and entries must be received 7 days prior to the event.
